And to kickoff this awesome adventure, we are hosting a benefit concert on Sunday, October 21st at 6pm at St. Bernard’s Church.
The Music Ministry from Saint John Vianney Church in Cumberland, RI, Sign of Life, will be performing Christian contemporary praise and worship filled music. The music ranges from modern Christian contemporary hits to reflective spiritual ballads, which is just like Workcamp. We have experienced this upbeat and spirited atmosphere every year in the auditorium at camp and are hosting Sign of Life to share that feeling with you. You can check the ministry out at their website, www.signoflife.cc. The concert is roughly an hour and one half to two hours long and there is no admission fee. A Donation is collected during the concert. And there will be a reception afterwards in the Parish Center for anyone interested in learning about and committing to any of the many different 2008 Workcamp volunteer opportunities. So, mark your calendars and be prepared to “Open the eyes of your hearts” and “Get Down” with Sign of Life and our Workcamp team.
