April 10, 2008
We are well on our way to confirming homes to repair and raising all the funds needed. The next piece of this transformational experience is the VOLUNTEERS. This camp can’t happen without people sharing their time and talents….. Please consider putting your faith into action and committing to the many opportunities to serve for the workcamp. We are looking for volunteers during the week before camp (6/22-6/28) to delivery paint, ladders to the homes, and prep homes. We are in need of people, who have construction and carpenter experience to volunteer during the week of camp (6/30-7/4) to Site Coach the building of wheelchair ramps, decks, and steps. And we are looking for people interested in joining the crew that will help clean up and finish projects, during the weeks after camp. We understand that some of you work and would have to take time off but what better cause to do so then to help a neighbor in need. Please check back to this page often, there will be future posting of a sign up schedule of specific dates, times and roles. For details, please do not hestiate to “contact us” by email or by phone 401-295-5235.
